De Nieuwe Stad is a business park in the Oliemolenkwartier in Amersfoort. In the area, which the municipality describes as a creative breeding ground, collaboration, sustainability and innovation must be central. In May 2013, the municipality of Amersfoort, developer and investor Schipper Bosch and urban development agency ZUS decided to enter into a partnership to develop the Oliemolenkwartier into De Nieuwe Stad. This started in the former Prodent factory, where various companies established themselves.
