De Hoef Amersfoort
Overview
De Hoef is a business park and former hamlet in the Schothorst-Noord district of Amersfoort. A well-known resident of De Hoef was farmer Gerard Schimmel (1877-1934), who as owner of the De Nieuwe Hoef farm was alderman of Hoogland and churchwarden of the Saint Joseph parish in Hooglanderveen. The current business park between Schothorst-Noord and the Hoevelaken junction is enclosed by Outputweg, Zielhorsterweg and A1. National, international, large, medium-sized, service, logistics, non-profit and ICT companies can be found at De Hoef. It has a representative mix of buildings and architecture.
