Bergkwartier is an area and traditionally a neighborhood in Amersfoort. It is administratively divided into two districts De Berg-zuid and De Berg-noord. The district is located on the Amersfoortse Berg at about 44 meters above NAP. The neighborhood is characterized by the large 1930s homes and the many green spaces. It is therefore regarded by many as a residential area.
